The apartment was in great conditions and the pools and beach were absolutely gorgeous! We were even treated to a complimentary welcome package that included breakfast goodies and happy hour essentials! Everything went perfect. Loved, loved out stay!
I stayed at Las Verandas inside the Bahia Beach Resort and Golf Club for three wonderful days with my wife and two teenage children. We had a wonderful time, everything was as advertised. The unit that we stayed in was well furnished and decorated. We had two spacious bedrooms each with its own on suite bathroom. The master bedroom has a jetted tub and both bathrooms are spacious. The kitchen and the living room, along with the balcony provide more than enough room for an average sized family. I believe that there is adequate space for a family of up to seven. Everything is of good quality and works well. The central air was great during these hot days of August. A few minor things that were on the "down" side for me were that the unit is on the second floor of a three story building. I would have preferred the top floor or the first floor, I didn't know that before I got there. Also, the kitchen has an electric stove, I prefer gas appliances, and markings on the knobs for the oven are worned out and the labels are half erased so that you don't really know what the setting is. The last thing was that there is a scale in the master bathroom. It seemed to work the first day but it looks like the batteries are dead. The resort is huge but very private. It did not feel crowded. The golf cart was wonderful for getting around. We had the resort passes that allowed us to use the facilities throughout. The boathouse allowed us to use the kayaks, paddle boards, and bicycles at no additional cost. We also had access to several swimming pools with towel service at each pool. The Beach is large with around two miles of shoreline but it was a bit disappointing because everyday was a red flag day meaning it was dangerous for swimming because the waves were too strong. I talked to a lifeguard there and he told me that it was because we have had a lot of rain lately and that there had been a storm. However, after talking to the lifeguard for a few minutes I got the impression that the Beach has a red flag most of the time. We also used the tennis courts which took us a while to find because they are near the entrance but tucked away by the plush vegetation. My son and my daughter were able to take part in a tennis clinic. That was a perk that I did know about when I got there. We had to pay an additional fee but it was a good clinic. Overall Bahia Beach is a Wonderful resort if you can afford it. I would love to come back.
This condo was amazing! It was clean, spacious, well-appointed and fantastically managed. We cooked lots of meals in the kitchen, which allowed us to avoid having to eat out for every meal. This saved a lot of money for us compared to a hotel. I agree with others that the photos of the unit do not do it justice. The deck is large, and very comfortable for enjoying breakfast or a drink. We absolutely loved the amenities of the resort. The beach and main pool area are spectacular. We also loved the Las Verandas pool, which was right by the unit, and seemed to be frequented by the permanent residents of the resort (all of whom were very friendly). The resort was not crowded at all during our stay. The property manager was extremely responsive. She answered our questions and provided assistance whenever needed. We will definitely be back!
Great place to unwind and stay in contact with nature. Will go back yearly. The villa was spotless and had everything needed. The staff is amazingly responsive and friendly and, very important!!,the beds were extremely comfortable. Overall 5 stars hand down!! Our Response: Thank you Edgardo for your great review. Glad to read you enjoyed the beds and will come back yearly! It will be a pleasure to have you and your family back. Thank you kindly for your patience and for taking such good care of Villa Casablanca.
Villa is spacious and well equipped for cooking. Fridge has a few things to help prepare meals too. We checked it all out before shopping for our food. We loved the property and spent lots of time at not house, beach, and pool. It was a great vacation. Concierge was also helpful in planning other things to do in Puerto Rico.

This villa is even better than we expected! It is meticulously maintained and John and his team were so easy to work with and very accommodating. They answered our emails quickly and gave us a number while we were in Puerto Rico where we could reach them- we never needed to, but it was nice to know we could if we did. The description of the property in my mind didn't do it justice. The villa itself was beautiful and enough space for our family of 7 (five children) and the golf cart was a bonus. The kids loved the bunk beds and my husband and I liked the layout of the master bedroom and the master bath. It was so nice to have 3 full bathrooms after a long fun day out in the sand and sun. And with kids having a washer and dryer is always a plus. The deck was large and overlooked the golf course and the main living area was spacious with a large table that was perfect for games at night. The TV was wifi enabled so we could sign into Netflix for the kids in the morning when they woke up before us and the wifi worked well for all the other kids' electronics too. There was reception everywhere we went at the resort. The resort fee that is optional was definitely worth the price! We loved the boat house with paddle board, kayaks, bikes, and a blow up play area on the lake. The beach at the club house was amazing- lots of chairs and never felt crowded. And the pool there was fun too. The service of the staff there and at the boat house was also very good. It was just like staying at the St Regis resort for a fraction of the price and with the comfort of a large condo. We ate breakfast at the condo and then ate lunch at the beach or pool and then explored the island in the evening and ate out. You could easily do all 3 meals at the condo with its lovely kitchen and is stocked with all the supplies you would need. We loved it and have already shared with our friends and family that this is the place to stay if you are visiting Puerto Rico!
Villa Casablanca was the perfect home base for a wonderful week at Bahia Beach. All amenities were top-notch and we all loved using the golf cart to get around the property.
We had a terrific stay at this condo and at the Saint Regis resort. The condo was very true to the photos provided. I would say it even seemed a bit larger. The unit was clean and in good condition. We were also impressed with the quality of construction. The large deck overlooked the 10th fairway. It was pretty and quiet. The bunk beds are full size. If you have large teenagers, they’ll definitely fit. An added surprise was the trundle beds under each bunk. They facilitated a crib rental and the crib fit easily in that bedroom. There is a large walk in closet in the bunk room which made it easy to store the kids stuff. There are a ton of DVD’s in the bunk closet. The washer and dryer are new models and full size. The air conditioning has two zones (bedrooms and main area). This is great. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, ect… They provided a very nice touch by stocking the fridge with a few things when we checked in. (milk, juice, eggs, coke, beer, deli meat and cheese, and a few other things). The resort itself is lovely. It’s spread out and is very much a golf cart community. The beach is spectacular. The beach and ocean are fantastic. It’s great for playing in the waves. I highly recommend the resort pass. We were able to use the driving range and could play golf at member rates. The health club is well equipped. There is an outdoor nature trail. This was very useful for running. The pool by the unit is small but very sufficient. It was a quiet place to hang out. The big pool by the ocean has an “adults only” area and a family area. Both were great. Their restaurants had very good food but you’ll pay a lot for it. Couple of downsides (nothing that would cause us not to return): The main pool (available for this unit/not hotel pool) is/was closed Mon-Wednesday. This meant there was not towel service or bar/restaurant service. Not a big deal; we got towels at the small pool. You need to check the restaurant hours as well. Some close early and others aren’t open Monday-Wednesday. This resort really needs a casual dining option (beer and burgers until 11pm type of thing). Our golf cart had problems during our stay. Annette and John worked to resolve it (and did) but it was frustrating. We didn’t have it for a full day. The cart was great for cruising around with little ones. It can be loud at night (birds etc.), bring ear plugs if you sleep light.
We travel with our 4 kids all the time, and this property was fantastic. It was a favorite for each of us, and we plan to return. The villa was lovely and spacious. The pools, beaches, the lake with the blow ups and kayaks, it was all so fun and right there. And getting around by golf cart was great. I highly recommend it!
Thank you for a wonderful stay . . . we will definitely return ;). John and Annette were incredibly responsive to our questions (before the trip) and items we needed (on the trip). These properties are on absolutely beautiful grounds . . . the golf cart makes it easy to get around and the accessibility of activities (beach, pool, kayak, paddle board, biking) make the vacation something special for everyone in the family. Some items future guests may find helpful: (1) visit the local supermarket and cook at the unit--food on the grounds was subpar and fresh fish is hard to find--grill on the patio is a perfect way to end the day (2) bring soap along with personal toiletry items--the unit has great furniture/features but several basic household items were either low or missing (3) build enough time into your visit to be able to explore other parts of the island--biobay tours fill up fast--Sand Dollar Beach was our favorite beach to collect treasures in the morning (4) you do not need a tour to enjoy El Yunque National Forest--rent a car, hike to the waterfalls, and enjoy the beauty this island has to offer!
we loved our stay at Villa Casablanca. It is a very charming apartment with impeccable furnishing, a well equipped kitchen and a large terrace overlooking the grounds of the resort. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, the golf course is very picturesque and the beach is fantastic. The whole place has a very relaxing feeling.
Everything was handled very smoothly in renting and getting to the property. Once there, the property and it's surrounding amenities was perfect for our family of Grandparents, Parents, and Kids- something for everyone's interest. It reminded us of the "Fantasy Island" setting as we golfed, swam in the ocean, played in the lagoon.
Our family spent 11 days in Puerto Rico this February. The property is wonderful - we loved the kitchen & BBQ outside on the porch. The golf cart was such a blessing & made getting around the resort so easily. The beach almost never had any one else there - which was bliss. The driver that John helped us arrange was awesome - not only did he did us to & from the airport, he also helped with some excursions including the Bioluminescent Bay, Old San Juan & gave us great advise on restaurants. The only challenge was that the grocery store is a bit of trek & really requires one to either have a rental car or invest in a cab ride. Fortunately, it's very easy to get a rental car thru the concierge desk at the St. Regis. We absolutely would recommend this condo & the St Regis property to anyone looking for an idyllic vacation.
We opened the door to the condo and were thrilled! Everything was so perfect for our family! John and Annette were so helpful with suggestions for activities and dinners. This was truly our family's best vacation spot ever!
Our family had a wonderful time at Villa Casablanca. The Villa was very nice and the various facilities (and staff) at the St. Regis were also great. (Having access to the golf cart was very convenient.) We would definitely consider going back.
I have stayed at other similar properties in Bahia and this Villa by far is the best alternative. Villa Casablanca is a very well kept and maintained Villa at the beautiful and extremely safe Bahia Beach Resort. Every detail of the property is in top condition. John and his wonderful staff will do everything possible to make you feel right at home. We will be back.
We had a perfect stay at Villa Casablanca. The pictures are 100% accurate. We had everything we could have possibly needed. We were there over the Easter holiday and never had an ounce of trouble with lounge chairs or towels at the owners pool or owners beach. The second bedroom in Villa Casablanca rocks! It's the only two bedroom rental that we've experienced that truly works for 4 kids. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. Working with John was a pleasure. We'll be back!
We just came back from vacation in Puerto Rico and I am making plans on going back again, hopefully soon. I am the type of traveler that does not go back to the same place, as there are so many wonderful places in the world, but this place was absolutely beautiful. The villa is very spacious, bright and very well maintained. It was decorated in a very tasteful Moroccan style and little details surprise you in the most unexpected places. I was not expecting this luxury for a rental villa, and this made is so special. The master bedroom is very big and bright, fitted with a very comfortable king bed and a big flat screen TV. It has doors to the huge patio that faces the golf course and the beautiful palm trees lining the beach. The second bedroom is a kids heaven. 2 Bunk beds and another sofa, stylishly arranged, can accommodate 5 kids or 5 adults with no problem. There are 3 beautiful bathrooms and big closets. Kitchen is big and it has a beautiful island allowing for a nice breakfast and conversation place. It has everything you need and the owner is such a nice person, that asking for something does not feel like a stretch. Living room is chic and comfortable and has 4 panel doors opening to a huge terrace fitted with a big table and really nice comfortable chairs with ottomans, just inviting you to relax, read your book, or just watch the beautiful sunrise and the palm trees. The villa is located on St. Regis property and has access to a lot of the property amenities. There is boat house where you can rent (for free) kayaks, canoes, bicycles, fishing rods. Everyone is very friendly and strives to make your vacation a bliss. The beach is amazing, the ocean water is very clean and warm. They groom the beach every morning and the sand feels incredibly soft. The guests of the villa can use their own section of the beach that has 3 cabanas in between the palm trees, hammocks, and lounge chairs; there is a beach bar and there are always towels for the guests to use, even when the beach bar is closed. The property has an 18 hole golf course. I cannot tell you too much about this, as I do not golf, but from what I can see driving around, this golf course had the greenest grass. The villa comes with its own golf cart and this makes the experience even nicer, as even a stroll on the golf course is a treat. I can keep going on and on, but only 100 characters left. Great location, great accommodations, friendly owners and staff.
What a delightful villa at a very well maintained resort. This is deffinitely one of the finer properties on the island, from what we could see, and the property manager, John Lohner was exceptional - he helped guide me through the selection process, and provided wonderful local knowledge - restaurants, places to visit, vendors to use. He truly went out of his way to make sure our stay was beyond great. when we arrived, he even met us at the airport to ensure we could find our way to the villa all right - and brought us the most amazing welcome kit we've ever seen; juices, fruits, food - truly over the top. In addition, when we discovered that there weren't hair dryers in the unit (my wife and daugher needed them), John and his wife made a special trip to meet us and deliver new hair dryers. The unit was even nicer than the pictures show - very nicely appointed, spacious, and elegant. While we were there it was quiet - not many people to contend with. The golf cart provided with the unit made traversing the property very easy - the pools were great - beach easy access, and having beach towels at all locations made it really simpe. I highly recommend this unit, and the management company - if you are coming to Puerto Rico , you really can't do any better
The resort is wonderful, exceptionally beautiful with plenty of activities. The Villa was impeccable. Everything worked perfectly, (small problem figuring out switching from blue ray to Satellite TV), but air conditioning and all appliances worked perfectly and everything was very high end. To our surprise, the Villa even came with a Golf Cart. The bedroom setup with bunk beds (for five) was perfect for the kids. Very sturdy, high quality, and attractive with nice linens. We arranged for daily maid service through our host, and the maid was both punctual and very thorough and even ran to the store to restock some groceries and other needed items. The Golf Course is excellent and we had no problem getting T-times. Concierge was more than happy to assist villa guests, although at times some hotel services seemed confused as how to react to a non-hotel guest in terms of charges. But, there was never a problem calling for a restaurant reservation. The free activity area with kayaks, bicycles, paddle boards etc., proved very fun. The Villa pool area was nice and quiet, and although towels are provided there are no other services. You have to venture to the beach or the hotel pool if you are looking to be waited on. We are definitely coming back. Getting this quality of residence with almost all of the same amenities as a hotel guest, at a fraction of the price, is a "No Brainer". Our host John, was great to deal with and made himself available to assist with any questions. Security Deposit was also promptly refunded as promised.
